Progression. And a wall.

We have been working steadily along. A lot of the things that have gotten done don't really seem to make much of a difference in the way the place *looks*.... but they are definitely still steps forward!!

The new plumbing is almost done. The new furnace is in.  The windows are supposed to show up sometime in the next week, as are the kitchen cabinets.

The tile flooring upstairs is almost all laid - it has been too cold outside to want to go out on the deck to use the wet saw to cut the edge pieces the last couple of days though....

The island looks more solid now!  It will have wide beadboard added to it yet, and a countertop.. and cabinetry attached to the other side.

We also built A WALL in the basement. *WOOT*

There is an awful lot of math involved with making a wall.

This is as far as we got it the first night. Since then, we've added some wiring (an electrical plug and a light switch) and some dry wall.  And a phone jack.

I may have had to remove some of the old drywall from the existing wall in order to get the phone jack moved into the new wall.. possibly. Very possibly.
