Instead of sneaking into what is now someone else's back yard to get my carrots later, I just harvested the whole batch the day before we handed over the keys.
Lots of the carrots were too small to bother keeping, and none of the beets had done very well... the bush on that garden bed kinda took over, and the veggies weren't getting much water or sunlight.
Bah.
BUT! We got awesome onions! And plenty of carrots from the other garden bed! And many, many gorgeous tomatoes. ^_^
And swiss chard.

Yeahhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so glad you got your veggies without having to dawn black clothing and a mask, or dye your hair!
