Spring is coming

I want to grow a garden. A desire for making bountiful the earth has taken hold of me and I am willing to weed every day to reach my goal!!

Of course, first I need to plan what I'm going to plant.

I want vegetables. YUM! And herbs! *le sigh*  And flowers... but I may not have to do much for those, we've already got irises taking over our front garden plot.

At my parents house there are garden beds that I can use. One in particular where the rhubarb is king and the grape vine grows has ample space for planting some seedlings.

Another option, to make sure the rhubarb doesn't get jealous and eat the rosemary up, is to use containers.

And of course, I have spent some of my morning's spare time in looking up garden plans, and seeing what is possible.  I kind of want to do every single thing you see in this line up.... But I don't think we have that many containers available to us. *heh*

I have long fancied my own Herb Garden, but there are so many different ways to accomplish it that I am overwhelmed. Couple that with the fact that I haven't held still during planting/growing season.... or stuck around for harvest time, and I have been fresh herb deprived for far too long.

At any rate.

Someday, and hopefully starting this year (if only on a small scale), I will grow my own produce. And live off of my garden quite happily for many many months. ^_^
