Spring!

We will soon have irises blooming in our front garden. The green leaves have shot up remarkably tall in preparation.
The peony bush is racing to open blossoms as well.

And the May tree out back is nearly fully leaf-ed out. It always has the most beautiful flowers all through the month of May (hence "may-tree"), and I'm looking forward to it!

It feels like summer here today. 30 C. Clear skies. Hot, beautiful sunshine.  I went for a walk, and regretted wearing jeans. I wanted to be in shorts. Yup.

Or a skirt.

Or a soft floral print summer dress.....

Lundi!

It is a new week folks! A whole brand new week just for *me*!!!
Woot.

The weather is nice, the sunshine is shiney, the grass is getting grassy... it's a wonderful springlike day!

Which is why I am wearing a bright green sweater. Cardigan, really. Buttons and all. And it's a green as the increasingly grassy grass should be soon.

GO ME!

Ameseganello

Working away this morning, getting things done and photocopied. Always an invigorating feeling.. harhar.

Actually it's nice to have something solid to do. Something that I can look at after and say it's finished.  A lot of the work I do seems to be everyday just a little, and it will never be done. Never actually *done*.  I will have to followup with that group and see how they are doing. I'll have to email this person and see if they are happy with how things are going. I have to keep up with the items that come in, over and over.
There will always be new events that need to be planned. Always things waiting to be done... just waiting. And of course, we come up with new stuff all the time. *heh*

Speaking of projects that can actually be accomplished and completed, I should work on typing up all those records that need to be organized for my Dad. It may be a long project, but I should be able to actually finish it.
I think.

Until the next time he goes to Ethiopia. And creates more records.

Where do I come up with these things?

I recently switched to a new email address, and as I was closing out the old one I decided I didn't want to lose *all* of my correspondence with my friends.  It might not be real letter writing, but I've written a doozy of emails in my day.

So of course I moved them all into a word document and saved it. Then I closed that email account. Farewell to all the other boring emails I didn't feel like keeping! HAH!

However, as I was formatting the old emails into a word document, and hopefully catching some of the unintentional grammatical errors - we leave the intentional ones alone of course - I read over some of the emails I had written to my friends.
And honestly?
I'm weird kids.
Rather strange.

Quirky is a kind way of putting it....

Where the heck did some of those thoughts come from?? I'm sure I didn't think I was writing anything unusual at the time....

Maybe I'll have to search through and find some truly odd things I wrote and post them up for your perusal.
And then you can agree with me.

Yup.
She's a strange duck.
